About Colleen Mellor:

Colleen Mellor is a seasoned professional with a notable career in the insurance industry, serving as the President of Smart Solutions since July 1993. With an establishment under Northwestern Mutual Life, she has expanded services to support over 300 employer groups and manage 1,000+ individual plans.

Notable achievements include serving as the President of the Utah Association of Health Underwriters in 2013-2014, where she was the first woman president in 20 years, and also held the position of state Ethics Chair. Colleen was recognized by Utah Business Magazine in 2006 as one of the "30 Women to Watch."

In her role, Colleen prioritizes personalized service, offering support to employees and their families with services like claims resolution and appeals process assistance. She focuses on educating individuals about the benefits provided by their employers.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Colleen is an accomplished pianist with three albums of original music and experience in creating radio jingles. She takes pride in her family life as a happily married mother of ten children, including four stepchildren, and a proud grandmother of 15.
