Description
About the ATHENA Leadership Award
The ATHENA Leadership Award is presented to a person from our community who:
- Has demonstrated excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession.
- Provides valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community.
- Actively assists women in realizing their full leadership potential.
The ATHENA Leadership Award was inspired by the goddess of Greek mythology known for her strength, courage, wisdom, and enlightenment – qualities embodied in the ATHENA Leadership Model. The award is unique both in scope – local, national and international – and the ATHENA mission upon which it is based.
On Tuesday, February 25th, 2025, we will honor and recognize our next ATHENA recipient - Mayor Joy Petro - at our annual ATHENA Award Luncheon at the Davis Conference Center.
Check back on January 1st, 2025 to register!
