About our Speakers:
Kristin Andrus
Utah Community Activator
Co-owner of Traeger Grills and former co-owner of Skullcandy, Kristin Andrus is a Utah community activator with a passion for helping vulnerable populations thrive. She likes to personally understand the root cause of issues and is known for regularly showing up to listen, learn, and lend a helping hand. She leverages her social network of over 100,000 combined followers on Instagram and YouTube to educate, encourage service, and take collective action. Over the last three years, Kristin has partnered with The Policy Project, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, to go upstream to address barriers faced by women and children in Utah. Together, they have addressed period poverty in schools, funded teen centers in schools, and are currently focused on expanding in-classroom child sexual abuse prevention education. Kristin challenges herself to be brave and bold, and is willing to work on difficult things in new ways partnering with others.
