The Davis Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Committee is proud to announce that Julie Batchelor has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious 2026 ATHENA Leadership Award. This international honor recognizes women who demonstrate the highest level of professional excellence, contribute valuable service to their communities, and actively assist other women in achieving their leadership potential.
For more than two decades, Julie Batchelor has distinguished herself as a leader in the advertising and marketing industry, working as both an independent contractor and a fully commissioned vendor. Her extensive professional experience, business integrity, and creative expertise have helped countless organizations strengthen their visibility and impact across Northern Utah.
Julie’s career foundation began in her family’s restaurants — The Good Time Spaghetti Company in Ogden and Amicci’s Dela Cucina in West Valley — where she learned the value of hard work, service, and perseverance. She has also held full-time positions at Franklin Covey, Iomega Corporation, and Sysco International Foods, balancing multiple roles with dedication and purpose.
A proud Weber State University and Layton High School graduate, Julie has exemplified the ATHENA Leadership Model. Her love for community is evident in her extensive civic involvement. She is an active member of both the Davis Chamber of Commerce and the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce, serving on numerous committees and providing thoughtful leadership for decades. She currently serves as a RAMP Commissioner for Layton City and will join the Davis Chamber Executive Board in 2026.
Outside of business and civic life, Julie finds joy in coaching youth sports alongside her husband, Adam. Together, they have volunteered for 24 years coaching basketball, softball, and soccer — shaping the lives of young athletes and teaching lessons of teamwork and perseverance. Julie often measures success not by trophies or ribbons, but by invitations to life events after her girls have left the field and courts.
Julie and Adam will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 2026. They are the proud parents of their daughter Gracie, a student at Southern Utah University studying Sports Communications.
Reflecting on the recognition, Julie shared, “It takes a village, and I’m grateful that Davis County is my village!”
