Chantel feels lucky to have known at the age of 8 she wanted to be a banker. She started as a teller and has risen through the ranks in banking holding many key roles at Zions including, Davis County Area President, Manager of the Women's Financial Group, Division Operations Manager for Business Banking Loan Center and today is the Senior Vice President and Director of Zions Bancorporation's Business Banking Loan Center where she oversees the entire loan process for business customers across the western United States with a team of over 100 bankers committed to creating an amazing client experience. She holds an undergraduate degree in Professional Sales from our very own Weber State University and is currently pursuing her MBA. Last year Chantel was listed by American Banker magazine and recognized as one of the 15 inaugural women under the age of 40 from across the nation whose accomplishments and influence set them apart in the industry.
We are proud to say, we knew her first as she has served as chairman of our Davis Chamber Executive Board, led our Women in Business as Chair, and was recognized as our Chamber Advocate of the Year in 2012 and in 2017 as our Athena recipient. She's been actively engaged in our community serving on various boards and volunteering wherever she can make a difference.
All that aside, Chantel says her greatest role in life is within the walls of her own home. She is celebrating 19 years of marriage this month and has three amazing children ages 16, 14, and 5. She and her family love boating, running, and vacationing anywhere the sun is shining. Her favorite quote comes from Sir Winston Churchill, "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."
