Troy Wood

Troy Wood has served as the CEO for Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful since 2016. Troy is proud that Lakeview has been ranked as a “Top 100” community hospital in quality patient care by Truven Health Analytics, now Watson Health, eight years in a row and nine times overall. While at Lakeview, Troy’s vision is to create a culture of excellence by striving to live their promise to “Provide the quality of healthcare we want our closest loved ones to receive.”
Prior to taking the helm at Lakeview, Troy served as Vice President of Business Development for the HCA Mountain Division covering the hospitals in Utah, Idaho, and Alaska from 2012-2015. Troy also spent formative years at Lakeview Hospital serving as the Behavioral Health Director from 2001 to 2005, Assistant Administrator from 2005-2008, and Chief Operations Officer from 2008-2012.
Troy is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He earned a BA in Social Work and a BA in Psychology from Weber State University, a Masters of Social Work from the University of Nevada–Las Vegas, and an MBA from West Texas A&M University College of Business. He serves on several community boards including Chairman of Davis County Board of Health and Chairman of Davis Technical College.

Mallory Bateman is a Senior Research Analyst and the Utah State Data Center Coordinator at the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute focused on research and community engagement in Utah. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Utah and a Master's in Social Policy and Planning from the London School of Economics.
